Requesting a new supported site
This list reflects platforms that expose public caption data in a way DownSub can reliably read. Coverage can change if a platform updates its player or captioning system, so the supported sites list is reviewed periodically rather than fixed permanently.
Why subtitles may not appear
- Captions were never added by the creator.
- Auto-captions are disabled or unavailable.
- The video is private, deleted, or requires login.
- The platform blocks or changes caption access.
- Captions are region-restricted or language-specific.
- Technical access is unavailable for that page or player.
